Varsity Basketball vs. Berkshire: L 43-50Recap: Porter’s took on a tough Berkshire team in the Quarterfinals of the Class B playoffs. Porter’s fought hard but fell short losing to the Bears 43-50. In the first half, Porter’s struggled on the boards allowing Berkshire to take a 6 point lead going into the locker room. In the second half, Porter’s was much more physical on the boards and limited the number of second chance opportunities for the Bears. With less than a minute to go Porter’s had a chance to tie the game up at the line but was unable to do so.

Leading the team was Ana Bartkiewicz ’20 with 17 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assist and 1 block. Bartkiewicz shot 54% from the field (7-13) and 33% from behind the arc (1-3).

Also contributing were Callie Godfrey ’20 (10 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 assist, 1 block), Delaney Nwachukwu ’20 (8 points, 8 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block), Lila Conners ’20 (6 points, 4 rebounds, 1 block), Evie Perez ’17 (2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal). Emily Wogelius ’17, Sarah Zukowksi ’19 and Kyla Gallagher ’20 contributed good minutes as well.

Porter’s shot 36% (17-47) from the field and pulled down 37 rebounds (9 offensive/28 defensive). Porter’s had a tremendous season finishing with an overall record of 17-10.

Varsity Diving @ New England Championships
Recap: Porter's Diving team headed to Williston Northampton to compete in the New England Championships for DII. Porter's had a strong performance will all 4 divers coming in the top 8. Kennedy Perrenoud '17 placed 2nd overall and set a new score record with a score of 377.95. Miriam Mathew '18 placed 4th (364.02), Ella Warner placed 5th (362.60) and Maddy Allen came in 8th.
