The Glass House

Enjoy a rare opportunity to explore The Glass House and its grounds during the&nbsp;Golden Hour.&nbsp;This special two-hour guided tour offers a&nbsp;golden-hour experience&nbsp;of the site and its many distinct architectural landmarks. In addition, see how the&nbsp;lighting design by Richard Kelly&nbsp;– a pioneer and master of modern architectural lighting and a collaborator with Philip Johnson and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe –&nbsp;transforms the Glass House&nbsp;as the sun sinks in the sky.
This tour runs&nbsp;two hours&nbsp;in duration and is formulated to facilitate&nbsp;photography for personal use.&nbsp;It includes access to the Glass House, Brick House, Painting Gallery, Sculpture Gallery, and Da Monsta, with a&nbsp;three-quarter mile walk over paved, grass, and gravel paths.

This tour runs&nbsp;rain or shine.&nbsp;All&nbsp;ticket sales are final.&nbsp;No refunds will be issued, but tickets may be transferred to another date or program.
All&nbsp;tours depart from the Glass House Visitor Center + Design Store&nbsp;located at 199 Elm Street, New Canaan, CT 06840. Visitors are transported to the site in a shuttle which departs promptly.

For performers: sign-up time is at 6:30pm at the hall. Open to Redding residents and adjacent communities. We will have about 10-12 performance slots, which will be first arrive/first up. <a href="https://ridgefieldpride.org/pride-in-the-park/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Ridgefield’s seventh annual Pride in the Park</a> celebration will take place on SATURDAY, JUNE 6 from 12 - 3 pm in Ballard Park, Ridgefield (Rain location: Yanity Gym) with a parade around the park starting at 1pm. &nbsp; Ridgefield Pride in the Park is a free event, open to the public and catering to families, with a variety of activities, crafts, entertainment and informational tables for all ages.&nbsp;&nbsp;



In addition to <a href="https://ridgefieldpride.org/pride-in-the-park/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Pride in the Park</a>, there will be a multitude of celebratory Pride events and Pride Promotions throughout May, June and July with something for everyone, from our tiniest tots to our seniors. Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe will be featuring their popular Pride ice cream for the month of June.&nbsp; Additional Ridgefield-area LGBTQ+ events and promotions will be announced in the coming weeks on our website <a href="https://ridgefieldpride.org" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">ridgefieldpride.org</a>.

In these times of social upheaval and division it is essential that we come together and support each other.&nbsp; The LGBTQ community is one of our vulnerable populations, and it is important that we work to lift people up rather than pull them down.&nbsp; Ridgefield CT Pride provides just such an opportunity to do so, so please come join us in celebrating the LGBTQ community.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Ridgefield CT Pride is a non-profit charitable organization that was created in 2019 under the umbrella of the 501(c)3 organization Friends of Ridgefield Community Programs.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
