2 Canines Found Abandoned at Glastonbury Dog Park

Glastonbury police are searching for those who abandoned dogs at a local park.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Two dogs have been found abandoned at the local dog park in separate incidents over two days, police said.

On Sunday night, a German shepherd was found abandoned at the Glastonbury Dog Park on Welles Street, police said.

On Monday morning, another German shepherd was found abandoned at the dog park, police said.

Both dogs are being cared for by Glastonbury Animal Control and police said they are trying to determine who may have left the dogs at the park.

Police said anyone who may have information about the abandoned dogs can call Glastonbury Animal Control at 860-633-7227.
