GLASTONBURY, CT — A half-year Eversource Energy project that could affect power and traffic in some Glastonbury neighborhoods is set to begin this week, officials said.

Eversource will be performing work on some electric systems, officials said. Though most of the work will be taking place in Portland, some of it will likely cross over the line into South Glastonbury, officials said.

The work is slated to begin this week and is expected to last through December, officials said.
