WHAT: American Eagle Financial Credit Union is pleased to announce their free “Drive-through Electronic Recycling and Paper Shredding Day” event at the East Hartford Branch location. Protect yourself from identity theft and prevent fraud by having documents and electronics containing your personal and private information, securely shredded at this on-site document shred event. All are welcome to participate!
Bring up to three boxes/bags of paper (per person) for on-site confidential shredding. This includes: office papers and file folders with staples, clips, and rubber bands.
Additionally, computer equipment, laptops, monitors, printers, audio/video equipment, televisions, copiers, telephones, microwaves and small appliances will be accepted for electronic recycling.
Items that will not be accepted for electronic recycling are: air conditioners, smoke detectors, freezers, and hazardous materials (lighter fluids, liquids, paint, etc.)
