• Glastonbury Police Arrest Driver Found Asleep Behind The Wheel In Roadway (patch.com) — Glastonbury residents are learning more about an early-morning incident on Hubbard Street, where police say they found a car stopped in the roadway with the driver asleep behind the wheel. Officers reported determining the Hartford man was under the influence, leading to several charges and a scheduled court appearance in Manchester next month.
• Glastonbury beats Tolland to improve to 3-0 in boys soccer (thehour.com) — Glastonbury High boys soccer stayed unbeaten at 3-0 after senior captain Brady Nilsen scored a dramatic last-minute winner over powerhouse Tolland, despite the Guardians playing down a man. Players and coaches say stronger offseason commitment, senior leadership, and new additions have turned last year's disappointment into renewed confidence as Glastonbury aims to be the CCC team to beat.
