• Salon Incident In Glastonbury Lands Man With Sexual Assault Charge (patch.com) — Glastonbury readers should know that a 47-year-old East Hartford man faces a fourth-degree sexual assault charge after police say he inappropriately touched a stylist during a July haircut at a local salon. Following a Glastonbury Police Department investigation, he surrendered on a warrant September 18, posted a $10,000 bond, and is due in court October 16.
• Glastonbury hardware store sees rush ahead of weekend storm (wfsb.com) — Glastonbury residents are crowding Katz Hardware today to stock up before this weekend's first major storm, with the owner warning that power outages are likely as winds top 40 mph. He urges locals to secure generators, batteries, and cleanup supplies now, and to check gutters and sump pumps before conditions worsen Saturday.
• Why Teagan Gregorski is the next standout in Glastonbury's soccer family (soccerjournal.com) — A rising Glastonbury High freshman, midfielder Teagan Gregorski, is already drawing statewide attention after earning ECNL New England Conference Player of the Year and helping the Guardians start 5-0.
