Arrest Made In 2-Year-Old Glastonbury Car Theft Case

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury police have made an arrest in a two-year-old car theft case.

Police made the arrest report available this week.

According to an arrest report, 22-year-old New Britain resident Michael Rodriguez was picked up on a warrant on Jan. 24. He was charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree larceny, according to a n arrest report.

Police said a warrant had been issued for the arrest of Rodriguez in connection with a car stolen from a garage in town in 2020.

Rodriguez was initially held on a $50,000 but at an arraignment later that day, the amount was cut in half, according to judicial system records. He posted bail and is due back before a judge in Manchester Superior Court on Feb. 8, records show.
