Arrest Made in Violent September Glastonbury Carjacking
Glastonbury police announced a carjacking arrest on Monday.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury police on Monday said they have made an arrest for a September armed carjacking at a local apartment complex.
Kevin Reid, 27 of Kent Street, Hartford, was arrested on Nov. 21 while at a probation hearing in Hartford by Glastonbury police and the FBI's Violent Crimes Task Force, according to a report.
He was charged with carjacking, first-degree robbery, first-degree threatening and first-degree reckless endangerment, according to a report. He appeared in court that day and remained in custody Monday on a $250,000 bond, court records indicate.

He is currently on probation for an unrelated domestic violence case, police said.
On Sept. 27, police received a 911 call from a man at the Tannery Apartments, 917 New London Turnpike. The man told police that he was forced out of his car at gunpoint and the thug drove off, according to a report.

The vehicle was located in Hartford and Reid was developed as a suspect, according to a report.
Reid has no connection with the man nor has ties in Glastonbury, police said.
