Chris Murphy for U.S. Senate

The stakes in this Election are very high.  We urge you to vote for Chris Murphy in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate on Tuesday, August 14th.

Chris is currently the Congressman for the Fifth District who has spent the last six years fighting to create jobs, holding Wall Street accountable, and protecting consumers—us.  He has come to Glastonbury many times to knock on doors, meet our neighbors, and speak to local groups.  He has been working to bring our troops home from Afghanistan and Chris continues to work for them so they get the VA health care they have earned.

Chris Murphy has a record of winning tough elections. . He has the support of thousands of grassroots Democrats, as well as the support of Senator Blumenthal, Governor Malloy, Lt. Governor Wyman, and the entire congressional delegation.

Despite recent attack ads by Susan Bysiewicz, Chris has a strong record of supporting middle class and working families, not Wall Street and hedge funds as she claims.  Unfortunately for Susan, her accusations are true of "Scott Murphy of New York,"  not Chris Murphy of Connecticut. Oops!  She should withdraw her errant ad since her "research team" made a serious mistake that continues to mislead voters. However, whether Susan does the right thing or not, you should know that the truth about Chris Murphy is that he continues to represent the people of Connecticut—not special interests.  At a time when we look for honesty in politics, Chris Murphy is the real deal and we need him in the U.S. Senate.
