Truth behind Rep. Srinivasan vote against House Bill 5536

It is disappointing that in the closing days of the campaign, the people of Glastonbury received a false and misleading mailing which is clearly a political act of desperation.

The truth is that House Bill  5536 had nothing to do with any religion, but does now prohibit condominium associations from deciding what its members can put on the doors of their condo units.  This concept had no public hearing, and I believe in considering all sides of an issue before I vote.

I firmly believe in the rights of condo owners and in religious freedom and I’m proud of my vote on this bill.  If anyone has questions about this bill or my vote, I encourage them to call or email me or to attend my next office hours here in town.
