Bridge Opening Delayed in Glastonbury
Glastonbury officials announced a new bridge opening schedule on Wednesday.
GLASTONBURY, CT —The Eastern Boulevard bridge, previously slated to reopen at the end of October, has been delayed due to "utility company facility relocation," town officials said Wednesday.
The required relocation work has now begun and other work necessary to open the bridge will immediately follow, officials said.
The bridge is now projected to open the first full week in November and commuters should plan travel accordingly, officials said.
