St. Luke’s Church announces auditions for Glastonbury’s Got Talent Show to benefit Heads up! Hartfor

On Sunday, November 1st from 11am-1pm and Saturday, November 7th from 4-6 pm talented youth AND adults are invited to audition for St. Luke’s annual Glastonbury’s Got Talent show to benefit Heads up! Hartford at the church, 915 Main Street, South Glastonbury. If necessary, alternate times may be arranged if it is absolutely impossible to attend the auditions. Interested applicants who can sing, play an instrument, dance, juggle, read an original poem, do magic, tell a story or jokes, or whatever their unique talent, simply need to prepare a 3-5 minute presentation – alone or in a group. Auditions will be held to screen for suitability. There will be no “judging” at the show itself – just the chance to participate in a night of entertainment in support of a great cause. Contact Patti Cole to reserve your audition spot, request an alternative time, or get more information at pattisivocole@gmail.com or call (860)633-5057.
The actual show will take place on Saturday, November 21st at 7pm. Suggested donation for the show at the door is $15 adults, $10 students/seniors plus a non-perishable donation for the local food bank. All proceeds go to support the charity Heads Up! Hartford that brings together a group of urban and suburban youths for a week every summer and weekends through the year to build communities through leadership development, volunteer work, and the promotion of diversity.
