Casting Call: Student Athletes Needed for New Frontier Commercial

Frontier Communications today announced it is looking for local student athletes to participate in a commercial casting call for Vantage™ Sports Network (VSN-CT), Frontier’s new all-local sports channel.

VSN-CT is an all-local sports channel exclusive to Frontier’s Vantage™TV customers; the channel launched in September with the goal of providing statewide youth, high school and collegiate sports coverage. In addition to full games, the channel also has a live highlights show that broadcasts from the television station at Sacred Heart University.

Frontier is now looking for student sports athletes to attend one of three upcoming casting calls for consideration in their next round of commercials. All students, all grades and all ability levels are encouraged to attend; fall, winter and spring sport athletes are all welcome. Additionally:

• No prior experience is necessary, just a great attitude!
• Athletes are required to arrive in their school sports uniform and bring their equipment (ex: basketball, tennis racquet, football etc).
• All participants must have parental consent and sign a standard release form.

Casting calls will be held on the following dates:

• Monday, November 28 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport (600 Main Street)
• Tuesday, November 29 from 4:00 -8:00 p.m. at Dsign Digital in Glastonbury (76 Eastern Blvd)
• Thursday, December 1 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Dsign Digital in Glastonbury (76 Eastern Blvd)
