Chanukah Laser Lights, Giant Menorah on the Glastonbury Green!
December 24th Community Celebration Open to All!
The giant Menorah (9-feet-tall) will amaze you.
The huge inflatable Dreidel will impress you.
The Chanukah Laser Lights will dazzle you.
The glowing candles will lift your spirits.
The Dreidel Mascot will dance with you.
The hot drinks will keep you warm.
This Chanukah, celebrate in style! The Chabad Jewish Center has announced plans to host a free, open-to-all holiday event. The program, marking the first evening of the festival of Chanukah, will be held on Saturday night, December 24th, at 7:00pm.
The festivities will be held at the Center (Fountain) Green in Glastonbury – corner Main Street and Hebron Avenue. “We invite the entire community to participate in this uplifting celebration,” said Rabbi Yosef Wolvovsky, Executive Director of Chabad. “You are sure to come away inspired and full of joy.”

The Rabbi emphasizes that this event is free of charge and open to all. Just come by and celebrate!
In addition to the kindling of the giant community Menorah candelabra (9-feet-tall!), participants will get to meet “Mr. Dreidel,” a fun and engaging Chanukah mascot. Adding to the festive spirit will be a huge inflatable Dreidel and holiday themed laser lights.

Warm your soul and your taste buds, too! Hot cider and warm potato “Latkes” (pancakes) will be served. Free raffles will be drawn, and Chanukah Kits will be available to all.
“The Menorah and its candles have always been a symbol of unity,” said Rabbi Wolvovsky. “Chanukah celebrates the freedom of all mankind… Let’s celebrate together!”
