GLASTONBURY, CT — Cigarette bandits hit a store in Glastonbury early Monday morning, police said.

At 3:39 a.m. Monday, Glastonbury Police responded to a burglar alarm at Chestnut Mart, 2749 Main St., police said.

Arriving officers discovered the front door glass shattered and cigarettes stolen from the store, according to an incident report.

Investigators Monday continued to work with area law enforcement partners to determine if the burglary is linked to similar incidents in the region.
