GLASTONBURY, CT — In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Town of Glastonbury is taking the following preventative actions:

Glastonbury Parks & Recreation – All Parks & Recreation programs will be suspended from March 14th until at least March 29th, at which time Town staff will evaluate how to proceed on a program by program basis. Summer registration will be held as scheduled beginning online and by mail at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17th. Questions regarding these changes may be directed to Parks & Recreation at (860) 652-7678 or recreation@glastonbury-ct.gov.
Riverfront Community Center – The Riverfront Community Center will be closed to the public for all Senior and Social Services programming beginning March 14th through March 29th or later. Social Services will be available by phone at (860) 652-7638 or email at socialservices@glastonbury-ct.gov but walk in appointments will NOT be accommodated.
Dial-A-Ride will be limited to medical and grocery trips only.
Welles Turner Memorial Library (WTML) – As of 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14th, the WTML will be closed to the public until further notice, including all programs, events, passport appointments, and other services. Checkout due dates are being extended to prevent overdue fees from incurring while the facility is closed. Residents may continue to contact Library staff by telephone, Monday through Friday, from 9-5pm, for reference services, general services, and to learn the protocol for picking up books on hold.
Youth & Family Services (YFS) – As of 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 13th, the Youth & Family Services office on Hubbard Street will be closed to the public. During this time, all YFS programs and services will be cancelled until further notice.
