Course on the Effects of Substance Abuse During Pregnancy
ADOPTIONS FROM THE HEART OFFERS AN ADOPTION EDUCATION CLASS; EFFECTS OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE DURING PREGNANCY, MARCH 18TH

(Glastonbury, CT): Adoptions From The Heart (AFTH), as part of its lifelong commitment to its adoptive families, presents its Spring 2015 Adoption Education Class: Effects of Substance During Pregnancy. It is important for prospective adoptive parents to make educated decisions when selecting options on their profile key. Join us in Glastonbury where AFTH will wlcome Sharon Lavigne, MS, a geneticist from UConn Health Center, who will speak about the short and long term effects of drug and alcohol exposure during pregnancy. This course will provide families with information that will be helpful when completing their profile keys. Adoptions From The Heart encourages all Connecticut prospective adoptive families to join us for this class and to come armed with questions.
The course will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Welles Turner Library located at 2407 Main Street Glastonbury, CT 06033.
