East of the River Chambers of Commerce team up with the community to spread warmth across CT
ERCCA teams up with the community to collect winter clothing for residents in need.
The East of the River Chambers of Commerce Association (ERCCA) has raised considerable financial contributions and collected winter clothing for children in need from their ‘Warming Hands, Warming Hearts’ event.
Boxes and boxes of new hats, mittens, gloves, socks, coats, and scarves were collected for the 3rd Annual "Warming Hands, Warming Hearts.” All of this winter gear was brought to several charitable foundations including Community Health Resources, Youth and Family Services, Network Against Domestic Abuse and East Hartford & Glastonbury Social Services.
The CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce brought their donated clothing as well as $250 and $260 check donations to the Glastonbury & East Hartford Fuel Banks, respectfully.

On Wednesday, January 11th, ERCCA hosted the 3rd Annual Warming Hands, Warming Hearts to collect donations. The event was held at Georgina’s Restaurant in Bolton. There was also an opportunity for guests to donate $10 at the door, which went towards the purchase of one brand new coat to be donated.
On Thursday, January 12th the CT River Valley Chamber brought several bags of donated coats as well as a $260 East Hartford Fuel Bank Donation to the office of East Hartford Mayor Marcia Leclerc.

On Friday, January 13, 2017, The CT River Valley Chamber brought the rest of their donations to the Glastonbury Youth and Family Services, along with a $250 donation to the Glastonbury Fuel Bank.
