Seniors: Thimble Island Cruise and Lunch at Rocky’s Aqua on the Water

Welcome aboard the Sea Mist, a 44-foot Carmen boat. Relax as you enjoy a narrated cruise around the Thimble Islands in Stony Creek. Learn how many of the islands exist; how many are inhabited; their most famous residents; plus the legend of the Mother-in-Law Island.  

Then it's on to lunch at an island marina in Clinton where you may order lobster rolls or other seafood treats. The regular menu includes some non-seafood items as well.  

Schedule:
8:45 a.m.  Leave RCC      
10 a.m.  Board Sea Mist 
11:30 a.m.  Board Dial-A-Ride    
12:00 p.m.  Lunch   
2:30 p.m.  Arrive back at RCC 

Cost: $18 (plus lunch)

Sign-up will take place on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Community Room A. One person may make reservations for up to two people only. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Glastonbury.
