Fallen Veteran’s Monument Vandalized In Glastonbury: Police
Police are investigating after a monument honoring a Glastonbury resident who was killed in action in Iraq was vandalized.
GLASTONBURY, CT — A monument in honor of a Glastonbury man who was killed in action in Iraq has been vandalized, according to police.
The Sgt. David Coullard (U.S. Marine Corps) monument is located at the Bell Street end of the Addison Bog multi-use trail. Police said three flags were torn from their posts, two benches were knocked over, and the large granite monument was knocked over and damaged.
Coullard was a Glastonbury resident who was killed in action in Iraq in 2005.
