A Main Street business was briefly evacuated Friday morning after a gas odor was discovered, Glastonbury police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A Main Street business was briefly evacuated Friday morning after a gas odor was discovered, Glastonbury police said.

The incident took place at about 9 a.m. at the TEASE Hair Studio, 2450 Main St., police said.

The building was cleared while crews from the fire department and Connecticut Natural Gas investigated, police said.

No leak was detected and no injuries were reported, police said.

Staffers and patrons wre allowed back into the establishment at about 9:45, police said.
