Glastonbury Adding Solar Panels to Two Elementary Schools
The state awarded the town a grant to conduct the installation.

They're on top of the Glastonbury High School, Town Hall and the town's garage. And now they're coming to Hebron Avenue and Nayaug elementary schools.
The Hartford Courant reported that the town has been awarded another renewable energy grant toward the installation of solar panels on top of the town's two elementary schools.
The Courant reported that the the solar panels will be cost savers for the town, as Glastonbury has already saved some $110,000 in utilizing the solar technology.
