Glastonbury Boys, Girls Sweep Division Titles at CCC Cross Country Championships
Six Tomahawk runners placed in the top 10 in Wednesday's meet at Wickham Park.
On an unseasonably warm late October afternoon, runners from Glastonbury High School enjoyed a highly successful day navigating the hilly 3.1 mile course at Wickham Park in Manchester.
In the newly-aligned Central Connecticut Conference, the Tomahawk boys and girls teams each prevailed as Central-Blue division champions at the CCC Cross Country Championships.
Randy Neish won the boys overall race with a time of 16:25. Chris Reeves was fifth and Alex Connery finished sixth for the Tomahawks, while Spencer Leclaire (20th) and Chris Dency (25th) also finished in the top 25 of the 207-runner field.
