Glastonbury Bridge Closure Timetable Announced

GLASTONBURY, CT — Residents and commuters will be facing delays when the Eastern Boulevard bridge over Salmon Brook closes to all forms of traffic on June 1, town officials said.

The closure is expected to remain in effect until Sept. 30, town officials said.

Complete bridge closure will allow contractors to replace the existing aged structure in the most cost-effective and expeditious manner possible, town officials said.

Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the construction zone.
