Glastonbury Cops Check In On Sleeping Motorist, Then Find Drugs
A welfare check on a sleeping driver turned into a drug arrest in Glastonbury.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A 35-year-old Marlborough woman is due in Court on June 1 after she was found sleeping at a Glastonbury Park with drugs in the car, police said.
At 8:57 p.m. on May 4, Glastonbury police stopped to check on the woman after she was noticed sleeping in her vehicle at the Wassuc Green on New London Turnpike and Manchester Road, according to an incident report.
She wound up being arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, according to an incident report.
