Glastonbury Cops Offer Man A Ride, Then Find Drugs On Him: Report
A man is in custody on a high bond after a ride turned into an arrest in Glastonbury

GLASTONBURY, CT — What started as Glastonbury police offering a ride to a man turned into a drug arrest on a high bond.
Police released a report on the Oct. 25 incident Friday.
That day, on Nanel Drive, Glastonbury police encountered 31-year-old Devon Canino and offered the Windsor resident a courtesy ride, according to a police report.

Police searched Canino prior to him entering the cruiser and found him to be is possession of drugs, according to a. report.
Canino was arraigned in court three days later on a controlled substance possession charge and his initial $100,000 bond was reduced to $25,000, which he failed to post, judicial system records show.

He is scheduled for a second appearance in Manchester Superior Court on Dec. 17, records show.
