Glastonbury Drivers Beware: Route 99 in Rocky Hill Still Closed for Bridge Work

Work to replace a bridge has been ongoing.

ROCKY HILL, CT - Route 99 in the area of Hog Brook will remain closed until Sunday, Rocky Hill Police said in a Facebook Post.

"Plan an alternate route to avoid delays," police said.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation and its contractor, Shultz Corp., are working since early August to replace the Route 99 Bridge over Hog Brook, police said.

Route 99 is closed and a detour is in place. Detour signs are win place to redirect traffic via Route 160 – Elm Street, Route 3 and Cromwell Avenue and Route 411 – West Street, police said.
