Glastonbury Hartwell Soccer Club donates to GHS Soccer

The Glastonbury Hartwell Soccer Club presented the GHS Girl’s Varsity Soccer team with a $1500 donation after a varsity game on September 9th. The donation represents the continued partnership within the soccer community. The Glastonbury Hartwell Girls U11 Premier team enjoyed being ball girls for the Varsity game and having a positive interaction with the team. For these aspiring young soccer players, an afternoon with the Varsity team is a memorable event. High-fiving players, seeing a competitive high school game and just basking in the high school sports environment motivates them in many ways. Throughout the year the teams and club unite to support community events including soccer camps, volunteer time at the Apple Festival and TOPS and Recreation events.
