Glastonbury Home Of Top Judge In George Washington's Presidency Sells
One of Glastonbury's most historic homes has sold.

GLASTONBURY, CT — The former Glastonbury home of a top official during George Washington's presidency has sold.
According to the real estate service Zillow, the circa 1760, three bedroom, three bathroom 2,272-square-foot home on Ferry Lane in South Glastonbury, sold for $700,000 on Jan. 22.
According to Zillow, the home is a "stone's throw" from the banks of the Connecticut River and Ferry Landing - the site of the oldest continuously operating ferry in the country.

It was once owned by Oliver Ellsworth, the chief justice of the Supreme Court under George Washington.
The home was completely restored in the 1990s, and has three working fireplaces, according to Zillow.
