Glastonbury MLK Initiative to Host Event Sunday

The event will include skits dealing with a few of the current social justice issues that might be of interest to Glastonbury residents.

GLASTONBURY, CT — The Glastonbury MLK Initiative will host its first Community Conversation for 2017 on Sunday, Jan. 15 at the RCC from 1:30 to 4 p.m.

The event will host the cast of Looking In Theater, who will perform skits dealing with a few of the current social justice issues that might be of interest to Glastonbury residents.

Issues may include Syrian refugees, transgender bathrooms, police profiling, etc. The program will be moderated and facilitated by Jonathan Gillman and Dean Alfred Carter, an educator, sociologist and humanist. Click here to view more details.
