
Rosemarie (Cascio) Comeau, 91, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of the late Leo Comeau, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2017 with her family by her side.
Rosemarie was born in Hartford on March 10, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Cecilia (Kilgariff) Cascio. Rosemarie was a former military wife and with that she and her family were fortunate to live in many different places throughout the U.S. and overseas.
She loved to cook, always preparing delicious meals and desserts for all to enjoy. Rosemarie enjoyed traveling, music, dancing and time spent on many beaches. A talented artist, she loved to paint and over the years created beautiful paintings. She was also a member of the Glastonbury Art Guild where she taught art classes.

Rosemarie was a kind and compassionate woman, always giving selflessly of herself. A devout Catholic, Rosemarie possessed strong religious beliefs.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her sons: Mark Santostefano and his wife Judy of Glastonbury, Dean Santostefano of Glastonbury and her daughter Elisa Paternostro and her husband Pat of Essex. She also leaves her grandchildren: James, Jenna, Emily, Nicholas, Jesse, Luke and Olivia and great granddaughter Nina. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Cascio.

A celebration of Rosemarie’s life will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral chapel at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Neipsic Cemetery, Neipsic Road, Glastonbury.
