Glastonbury PD Hires 4 Staffers — Including Pair Of New Officers

GLASTONBURY, CT — The Glastonbury Police Department last week welcomed four new staff members.

Two new police officers were sworn in — McKenzie Bushnell and Jared Giuliano. Both will be leaving for the Connecticut police academy at the end of the month.

Bushnell comes to the GPD from the State of Connecticut Judicial Marshall’s Office in Bridgeport. She also attended Middlesex Community College.

Giuliano brings several years of experience as a Real Estate Agent in the Town of Glastonbury. He attended Manchester Community College.

They will carry badges 468 and 469, respectively.

The GPD also hired another public safety dispatcher — Richard Freebairn. Freebairn serves in the Connecticut Army National Guard and he has a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Connecticut State University.

The GPD has welcomed Lorna Dunlea-Churchill, as a police clerk, assigned to the Records Unit. Dunlea-Churchill previously worked in the town's human resources department.
