Glastonbury Police Arrest Woman For Misuse of 911
The woman is accused of using the 911 emergency phone system 162 times.

A 43-year-old woman is facing charges of misusing 911 and falsely reporting an incident after she reportedly use the emergency phone system to call Glastonbury Police to complain about non-emergency situations — such as her CDs were scratched.
According to NBC Connecticut, Shaila Hegde was arrested after she ignored police requests that she use a non-emergency telephone line to file her complaints that also included that she believed her phone was being monitored. Police say Hegde has called them on 911 a total of 162 times since 2007 — and 24 times so far in 2014, according to the NBC report, which can be found here.
Hegde was arrested Sept. 25 and was released after posting a $2,500 bond. She is scheduled to return to state Superior Court in Manchester on Oct. 10, according to the Connecticut Judicial Branch online records.
