Glastonbury Resident Recognized as Connecticut Construction “Lawyer of the Year” for 2017

Dennis Cavanaugh receives top listing in The Best Lawyers in America® national peer review survey

Robinson+Cole lawyer Dennis C. Cavanaugh has been named the Best Lawyers® 2017 “Lawyer of the Year” in Connecticut for Construction Law. Mr. Cavanaugh is a member of the firm’s Construction Group where he focuses his practice on construction and surety law, including transactional work and litigation. This is the third time he’s received the “Lawyer of the Year” designation.

Mr. Cavanaugh has over 35 years of experience handling complex construction matters involving contract procurement, negotiation, financing, and commercial-related dispute resolution and litigation. He is a former chair of Robinson+Cole’s Construction Group and the Connecticut Bar Association’s Construction Law Section. Mr. Cavanaugh is a frequent speaker and writer on a variety of construction and suretyship topics.
