Glastonbury Roundabout Plans to be Showcased Next Week
A public hearing has been scheduled.

GLASTONBURY — The town of Glastonbury is planning to construct a "modern roundabout" at the intersection of Hebron Avenue and House Street and residents will get a look at it during a public hearing scheduled for Nov. 22.
The hearing is slated to begin at 8 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Town Hall, 2155 Main Street, Glastonbury. The public information hearing will provide the opportunity for public comment and questions concerning the proposed project.
Preliminary design is complete and the project is approved for construction funding under the Local Road Accident Reduction Program, officials said.

Based upon a preliminary assessment, the construction cost will be approximately $1,691,896. The LRAR will provide 100 percent of the construction cost, officials said.
A rendering should be available by early next week, officials said.
