Glastonbury Town Staffers Rally For Fuel Bank
This past Valentine's Day, Town of Glastonbury staff participated in the first ever "Spread Love through Warmth" campaign.
GLASTONBURY, CT — This past Valentine’s Day, Town of Glastonbury staff participated in the first ever "Spread Love through Warmth" campaign to support the local Fuel Bank.
Staff members from all Town departments and facilities wore Red or Pink clothing to the office and made donations ranging from $1 to $100 to benefit the Fuel Bank.
Managed by the Human Services Department, the Fuel Bank helps ensure that families in need in the community have, and maintain heat in their homes throughout the cold, winter months.

Town staff had a great time sporting their Red and Pink clothes throughout the day and the “Spread Love through Warmth” campaign ultimately raised $246 for the bank.
It was organized by the Customer Service Center.

Participants included staff members from the RCC, Police Department, Library, Customer Service Center, Health Department, Youth & Family Services, Engineering, Assessor's office, and Revenue Collection.
