UPDATED Glastonbury Traffic Alert: Road Work Closes Lanes of Route 2 and 3

The Connecticut DOT has announced there will be road work on Route 2 westbound between Exits 13 and 10 (5.6 miles) in effect tonight until Thursday, April 2 at 6 a.m. The left lane is closed.

Driving on Route 3 in the area of the Putnam Bridge will take a bit longer on Wednesday.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is performing road work on the bridge in both the northbound and southbound lanes.

The work will continue until 3 p.m., and will cause closure of the left lanes.
