Glastonbury Woman Accused of Slamming Chihuahua Against Wall
She was also charged in a dog incident about five years ago, records indicate.

GLASTONBURY — A Glastonbury woman is accused of animal abuse for allegedly throwing a Chihuahua against a wall "as hard as she could," according to a police report.
The incident took place on Nov. 14 and Lindsay Anderson, 25, of Glastonbury, is to face a cruelty to animals charge when she appears on court on Wednesday, police said.
Police responded to a home on Sherman Road at 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 14 after receiving a complaint about a woman who had badly beaten a dog while drunk, according to an arrest report.

Officers then discovered a Chihuahua with a swollen eye, a cut to the sternum and bruises on its "entire underbelly" and joints, according to an arrest report.
Authorities further discovered what looked like burn marks, according to an arrest report.

The dog remains with its owner (Anderson was was not the owner of the dog) and its welfare is being closely monitored by Glastonbury Animal Control, police said.
It turned out the Nov. 14 incident was not the first time for Anderson, police said. In March, 2013, She was sentenced a year in jail suspended and given two years of probation for a 2012 incident in which she was accused of biting her mother and throwing a dog, court records show.
