Laurie Boyd awarded Volunteer of the Year by CJSA (Connecticut Junior Soccer Association)

Laurie Boyd, Glastonbury Hartwell Soccer Club Treasurer, was recognized by the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA) as the Volunteer of the Year for the entire state of Connecticut.

Laurie has been a dedicated Hartwell volunteer for many years. She helps to keep GHSC up and running on a daily basis by monitoring over 1,000 transactions every Spring and Fall season, chasing down outstanding Receivables, processing refunds, cutting checks, and checking the post office box several times a week with a smile and terrific spirit!!

Likewise, she has also dedicated her time to Hopewell Elementary School, Gideon Welles, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Church of St. Dunstan, and Pine Brook Pool and Tennis Club.
