"Long-term Insurance Care: The Missing Link in Retirement Planning"
A Money Smart Week presentation at the Welles-Turner Memorial Library

On Tuesday, April 26, 6:30 p.m., Welles-Turner Memorial Library’s Friends Room. Aldo Pantano, from the Connecticut Partnership for Long-Term Care, State Office of Policy and Management, discusses the state’s program that can help in planning future long-term care needs.
The session will educate state residents to better understand the challenges regarding long-term care and how these challenges can impact families and communities. The presentation will clarify misunderstandings and misconceptions about what long-term care is and what it is not; who need it; who pays for it and who does not.
Included is a discussion about where long-term care situations fit in with Medicare, Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act and more. This seminar provides a thorough explanation of the unique value and solutions that the Partnership offers Connecticut residents.
