GLASTONBURY, CT — A 48-year-old Wethersfield man was arrested on a warrant Monday in connection with a sexual assault investigation at a Glastonbury dance studio, police said.

According to an arrest report, Alexie Vladimir Lovkin was charged with illegal sexual contact with a victim younger than 16 and fourth-degree sexual assault with a minor victim.

Police said they began an investigation at the request of the Connecticut Department of Children and Families, which received a complaint from a girl who said sexual assaults against her began when she was a 15-year-old student at a "local ballroom dance studio."
