Man Asking For Money At Glastonbury Store Charged
A trespass warning went ignored at a local store, police said.
GLASTONBURY, CT — A man who was told to stay away from a Cumberland Farms store in Glastonbury is now facing a criminal charge.
Police released details of the Aug. 29 incident this week.
That day, a 48-year-old Manchester man was taken into custody and charged with first-degree criminal trespass. According to a police report, he violated a trespass warning for the Cumberland Farms on Main St. while in the store's parking lot asking customers for money.

The man is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Sept. 26.
