Man Tosses Stolen Gun Into Glastonbury's Salmon Brook: Report
A man has been charged with weapons violations in Glastonbury related to a disturbance, police said.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A West Hartford man remained in custody Tuesday and stands accused of tossing a stolen gun into Salmon Brook after a disturbance in Glastonbury. He is facing several charges as a result, police said.
Police released an arrest report on the incident this week.
The disturbance took place at 9:21 p.m. on Oct. 18 and Kijuan Terrell, 36, of West Hartford was arrested on weapons, narcotics, and breach of peace charges following a disturbance in the area of 2801 Main St., police said.

According to an arrest report, investigators determined that Terrell dropped a gun during an argument and later threw it into Salmon Brook as he left the scene.
Police recovered the firearm and determined it was stolen, according to an arrest report.

Terrell's charges include:
- Carrying a pistol without a permit
- Criminal possession of a firearm
- Stealing a firearm
- First-degree reckless endangerment
- Evidence tampering
- Possession of a controlled substance (first offense)
- Second-degree breach of peace
Terrell appeared in court and did not post his initial $250,000 bond, records show. He remained in custody Tuesday on that amount and is due back before a judge on Nov 30.
