More Than 200 Glastonbury Residents Lose Power

GLASTONBURY, CT - A few residents were without power Wednesday morning.

A total of 254 customers were affected by the outage, Eversource Energy officials said.

Crews were in town at about 8:30 a.m. and power was expected to be restored at about 11 a.m., officials estimated. Utility officials said it was an equipment issue that caused the outage.

The number represents about 2 percent of the customer base in town, according to Eversource.
