A Tuesday ceremony for new judges had a local tie.
GLASTONBURY, CT — Gov. Ned Lamont Tuesday swore in the newest class of Superior Court judges and family support magistrates and the ceremony had a Glastonbury connection.

Sworn in as a judge was Moira Buckley, 53, of Glastonbury. She received her law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law. Before her confirmation as a Superior Court judge, she was an assistant federal defender in the Office of the Federal Defender for the District of Connecticut.
