Police Dog Tracks Down Man Who Ran From Ambulance in Glastonbury

A man was charged after running away from an ambulance ride in Glastonbury.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A Glastonbury man is due in court Wednesday after being charged for running away from an ambulance ride, police said.

According to a police report, 37-year-old Ethan Williamson was being transported to Manchester Memorial Hospital at 2:30 a.m. on June 26. He fled the ambulance and ran toward a wooded area, according to a report.

A state police canine unit was called in and Williamson was found near Cedar Ridge Road and Manchester Road, according to a report.

He was charged with interfering with officers, according to a report.
