Race Day Approaching - Register Now for the Glastonbury River Runners 1st Race of the Season

Glastonbury River Runners kicks off their first race of the year with the Travel Insured International 5K/2 Mile Road Race on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at RiverFront Park on Welles Street in Glastonbury. Race Registration is $20.00 through April 7th at 5:00 p.m. First 150 Registrants get a Race Tech T-Shirt.

Please visit www.glastonburyriverrunners.com to get more information on registration and to view a map of the course. The route is one of the flattest 5K races in Connecticut. Come and challenge your pace for a 5K or a 2 mile run. All runners will receive finisher medals. 5K Awards will be given to the Top Male/Top Female Finishers and Top 3 Male and Female in 8 age categories.  Top 3- 2 Milers will also be awarded.

Registration will also be available at a Health Expo on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 11:00 a.m-2:00 p.m. at the offices of Travel Insured International at 855 Winding Brook Rd. in Glastonbury. Registration at the Health Expo and Day of the Race from 7:30-8:30 a.m. will be $25.00 cash or check only. Come visit our sponsors and pick up your bibs pre- race. Proceeds from this event will benefit the American Liver Foundation. Wear Black or Red at the Race to show your support of the American Liver Foundation.
