Registration for Santa’s Run Starts Today

Get in shape for the holidays by registering for Glastonbury's annual Santa's Run.

 

Glastonbury runners: Dust off your jingle bells and get ready for some fun. Registration opens today for the 35th annual Santa’s Run sponsored by the Glastonbury Parks and Recreation Department.

This year’s 3.5 mile race is scheduled for December 2nd at noon at Glastonbury High School. Runners are encouraged to show up in holiday costume. (The snow date is December 9th.)

Starting this year, preregistration is available only online or by mail. You may also register on site on the day of the race from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

To register online, visit: www.santasrun.glastonbury-ct.gov. You may download a registration form from the website. Forms are also available at these locations:

  • The Welles-Turner Memorial Library
  • The Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce
  • Glastonbury Town Hall
  • Area sports shops

The entry fee is $10 between now and November 22, 2012. The fee goes up to $15 after that.

The first 150 registrants will receive a free T-shirt. Runners may also order dri-fit race shorts for $20 online until November 9th.
