Restoring Sight with a Beam of Light
Free program at Duncaster on Oct. 5 on the newest technologies for cataract surgery

“Restoring Sight with a Beam of Light” is the title of a free program on Monday, October 5 at 3 p.m. This program is part of Duncaster’s monthly series, “The Art and Science of Graceful Aging.” The presentation will take place on Duncaster’s campus, located at 40 Loeffler Road. The event is open to the public, however pre-registration is required.
Alan Solinsky. MD will discuss the newest technologies for cataract surgery, including advanced lenses, femtosecond laser, pre-operative eye orientation and the VerifEye system for more accurate lens refinement.
Dr. Solinsky is a board certified Opthalmologist, specializing in anterior segment surgery, cataract laser surgery, eye care and glaucoma. He practices out of the Hartford Hospital Eye Surgery Center in Newington and has offices in West Hartford, East Hartford, Enfield, Newington and Hartford. He is a clinical instructor for the Department of Surgery at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Solinsky was selected as one of America’s top Ophthalmologists by the Consumer Research Council of America, and as one of Connecticut’s Top Doctors by Connecticut Magazine. He is a graduate of the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine and has trained at Hartford Hospital, Hahnemann University., and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
